Last updated: July 6, 2026 SheetData syncs data from your data sources into your own Google Sheets. This page explains what we store, what we don’t, and who we work with. SheetData is operated by Deniz Polat, Levisohnweg 8, 22081 Hamburg, Germany. Contact: hi@sheetdata.io

Your synced data

We don’t store it. During a sync, records are streamed from your data source directly into your Google Sheet and are never persisted on our servers. We only keep sync metadata: which sheet and data source were used, your query or selection, row counts, and error messages.

Your account

You sign in with Google. We store your name, email address, Google account ID, and profile picture.

Google Sheets access

We request only the limited drive.file scope — access to the specific spreadsheets you pick, never your whole Google Drive. We store the OAuth tokens needed to run your scheduled syncs, and use them solely to write your data into your selected sheets. You can revoke access anytime in your Google Account settings. SheetData’s use of information from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your data source credentials

Credentials you connect are stored encrypted at rest, and SheetData only ever accesses your data sources read-only. We recommend using dedicated read-only credentials.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details, billing address, and tax IDs live with Stripe — we only store your subscription status and your card’s brand and last four digits.

Hosting & providers

All application data is hosted in Germany (EU), on Laravel Cloud and Hetzner. We also use: Google (sign-in and Sheets API), Stripe (payments), Laravel Nightwatch (error monitoring), Mintlify (these documentation pages), Bunny Fonts and jsDelivr (static assets). Transfers to US providers are covered by the EU–US Daard Contractual Clauses.
